Betten Chaston has been a hair & make-up artist for over 25 years. This career has established her as one of the most respected  people  in her profession not  only in San Francisco but nationally and internationally.

Her interest began when she worked as a model in New York and Chicago. Later in London she worked with many top photographers and Hair & Make-up Artists across Europe. On her return to the USA she began to hone her skills.

Moving to San Francisco she became a partner in a model agency which led to her becoming a full blown hair & make-up artist. Her great eye and artistry led to work across the spectrum from high fashion to retail fashion, fashion catalogs to TV commercials.

This led to her working with many celebrities from the sports world to the entertainment business. Athletes: Lance Armstrong, Joe Montana, Jerry Rice, Steve Young, Roger Craig, Brian Botano, Kristi Yamagouchi among others. Many celebrities including Isabelle Rossellini, Amy Ryan, Mathew Goode, Chiwetel Zijofor, Joseph Gorden-Levitt, Julie Delpy, Jennifer Seibel, Lily Tomlin, Robin Williams, Chris Isaacs, Joshua Jackson, Santana, Rene Russo, Cameron Diaz, Lisa Rinna, Rebecca  Romijin-Stamos , Christie Turlington, Kathy Ireland, Carri Otis, Delta Burke and Famke Janssen.

She has over the last few years used her experience to work on many high-end weddings. Plus she has shared her experience with many young and up and coming hair & make-up artists.
